Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook Bacon and Beef: In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Prepare Pasta: Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Make Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk and beef broth, whisking constantly until smooth. Simmer until thickened. Stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted. Season with Worcestershire sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni, beef mixture, and cheese sauce. Stir in the crispy bacon.
- Bake Casserole: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
