Description

BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders combine the smoky richness of BBQ sauce with the savory flavor of bacon and melted cheddar. These bite-sized sliders are perfect for parties, casual dinners, or just when you’re craving a delicious, easy-to-make meal. Each slider is packed with juicy beef, crispy bacon, and all the classic cheeseburger flavors, making them a favorite for both kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices cooked bacon
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: pickles, lettuce, tomatoes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form it into 12 small patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Set them aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the onions in olive oil until golden brown and caramelized (about 5 minutes).
  • Brush the top and bottom of each slider bun with BBQ sauce. Place a cooked patty on each bun.
  • Top each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese, a piece of bacon, and a spoonful of caramelized onions.
  • Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.
  • Serve immediately with optional garnishes like pickles, lettuce, or tomatoes.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef patties if preferred.
  • To prevent soggy buns, toast them lightly before assembling the sliders.
  • For added flavor, try using a smoky BBQ sauce or a tangy mustard sauce.
  • Assemble the sliders ahead of time and store in the fridge until ready to bake.
