  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare Meatball Mix: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  • Form Meatballs: Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake Meatballs: Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  • Make Cranberry BBQ Glaze: While the meatballs bake, combine BBQ sauce and cranberry sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until smooth and warmed through.
  • Glaze the Meatballs: Remove the meatballs from the oven and brush them generously with the cranberry BBQ glaze.
  • Bake Again: Return the glazed meatballs to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to set the glaze.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • These meatballs can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Just glaze and bake before serving.
  • For a spicier twist, add a dash of hot sauce to the glaze.
  • Try substituting turkey or pork for the ground beef for a lighter version.
