Description

    • 12 oz elbow macaroni
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1/4 cup butter
    • 1/2 cup milk

    • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    • 1 small onion, diced

Instructions

  • Cook Macaroni:
    Boil macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare Beef Mixture:
    In a skillet, sauté onions until softened. Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, cooking until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in ketchup and mustard.
  • Make Cheese Sauce:
    In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk and slowly whisk in cheddar cheese until smooth and melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine Everything:
    Add the cooked macaroni and beef mixture to the cheese sauce. Stir to combine, then fold in the crumbled bacon.
  • Serve:
    Garnish with extra cheese or bacon bits if desired, and enjoy while hot!
