  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne, macaroni, or rotini)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • ¼ cup dill pickles, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove, crumble, and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
  4. Stir in the cream cheese, beef broth, ketchup, and mustard, letting it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta, crumbled bacon, and chopped pickles into the sauce. Stir until well coated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.
