- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 cup (240ml) beef broth
- 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (120g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (60g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (60ml) ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Sauté the Aromatics: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
- Add Flavorings: Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well. Stir in the heavy cream and half of the shredded cheeses until the pasta is evenly coated.
