This Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta combines the juicy flavors of a cheeseburger with creamy pasta, crispy bacon, and melted cheese. It’s a rich, comforting dish perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Pasta:
    • 12 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, or your choice)
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    • 1 medium onion, diced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
    • 1 cup beef broth
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For Garnish:
    • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
    • Additional crumbled bacon (optional)
    • Extra shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta:
    • Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare the Bacon and Beef:
    • Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Set aside to drain on paper towels.
    • In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the diced onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
    • Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, then drain any excess fat.
  • Make the Sauce:
    • Add drained tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream to the cooked beef. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
    • Stir in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine and Serve:
    • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Stir in crumbled bacon, reserving some for garnish if desired.
    • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley, extra bacon, and a sprinkle of cheese.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half, and use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
  • You can add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like mozzarella or gouda for a unique flavor twist.
