Description

Experience a burst of flavors with the Pineapple Bacon Pepper Jack Burger. This burger combines juicy beef patties with sweet grilled pineapple, smoky bacon, and spicy Pepper Jack cheese, all tucked into a soft, toasted bun. Perfect for a summer BBQ or whenever you’re craving something unique and delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of Pepper Jack cheese
  • 4 pineapple rings (fresh or canned)
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Shape the ground beef into 4 equal-sized patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
  4. Grill the pineapple rings for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized.
  5. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  6. During the last minute of grilling the patties, add a slice of Pepper Jack cheese to each one to melt.
  7. Lightly butter the burger buns and toast them on the grill or in a skillet.
  8. Assemble the burgers: spread BBQ sauce on the bottom bun, layer with lettuce, the cheesy patty, grilled pineapple, bacon, red onion, and finish with a dollop of mayonnaise on the top bun.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: Patties can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to grill.
  • Substitutions: Swap Pepper Jack cheese with cheddar or Swiss if you prefer a milder flavor.
  • Storage: Leftover patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave before serving.
