- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Shape the ground beef into 4 equal-sized patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
- Grill the pineapple rings for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- During the last minute of grilling the patties, add a slice of Pepper Jack cheese to each one to melt.
- Lightly butter the burger buns and toast them on the grill or in a skillet.
- Assemble the burgers: spread BBQ sauce on the bottom bun, layer with lettuce, the cheesy patty, grilled pineapple, bacon, red onion, and finish with a dollop of mayonnaise on the top bun.
