A fusion of comfort foods, this Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger Wrap combines the creamy richness of mac ‘n’ cheese, the savory taste of a bacon cheeseburger, and the convenience of a wrap. Perfect for a quick meal that satisfies all your cravings, it’s a delicious way to enjoy a classic combination in a new, portable form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Wrap:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 8 slices thick-cut bacon
    • 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese (store-bought or homemade)
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    • 4 large tortillas
    • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
    • 1/4 cup diced onions
    • 1/4 cup ketchup
    • 2 tbsp mustard
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional Toppings:
    • Pickles
    • Lettuce
    • Extra cheese
    • BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Cook the Bacon: Fry bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble once cooled.
  • Prepare the Ground Beef: Cook ground beef in the same skillet until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  • Prepare the Mac ‘n’ Cheese: Warm the mac ‘n’ cheese if needed, or prepare from scratch.
  • Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, crumbled bacon, mac ‘n’ cheese, diced tomatoes, and onions. Mix well.
  • Assemble the Wraps: Lay tortillas flat, add the filling, sprinkle shredded cheddar on top, and roll tightly.
  • Grill the Wraps: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat, grill wraps until golden brown on each side.
  • Serve: Cut wraps in half and serve with dipping sauces like ketchup, BBQ sauce, or ranch dressing.

Notes

  • Bacon: Cook until crispy but not overly hard.
  • Ground Beef: Break into small pieces for even distribution.
  • Mac ‘n’ Cheese: Ensure it’s creamy but not too runny for best results.
  • Wrap Assembly: Don’t overfill tortillas to prevent difficulty in wrapping and grilling.
  • Grilling: Medium heat is best to avoid burning the tortillas.
