Description

This BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf of the Undead combines the juiciness of a cheeseburger with the savory richness of meatloaf. Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix ground beef, bacon, cheddar, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, ketchup, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  • Spread the 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce on top of the loaf.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for beef for a lighter version.
  • Add diced bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
