- 2 lbs ground beef
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, bacon, cheddar, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, ketchup, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Spread the 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce on top of the loaf.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef for a lighter version.
- Add diced bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
