Description

Our BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf takes comfort food to the next level, blending the savory flavors of a classic cheeseburger with the heartiness of meatloaf. This recipe features ground beef mixed with crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and a blend of tangy BBQ sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Baked to perfection with a BBQ glaze, this dish is juicy, flavorful, and sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for glazing)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, cheddar cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan. Spread a layer of BBQ sauce over the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For a smoky twist, try adding a dash of smoked paprika to the meat mixture.
  • This meatloaf can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
