Description

Indulge in a decadent Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger, a fusion of two classic comfort foods! This mouthwatering burger is loaded with creamy mac ‘n’ cheese, crispy bacon, and a juicy beef patty, all nestled between toasted brioche buns. Perfect for cheat days, backyard barbecues, or when you’re craving something extra satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 burger patties
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 8 strips of bacon, cooked crispy
  • 2 cups macaroni, cooked
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Prepare the mac ‘n’ cheese: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in milk and shredded cheddar cheese until the mixture becomes creamy. Add the cooked macaroni, garlic powder, paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until the macaroni is fully coated in cheese. Set aside.
  • Cook the burger patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the patties with salt and pepper, and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until done to your liking. Let them rest for a few minutes.
  • Toast the buns: In the same skillet, lightly toast the brioche buns until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Assemble the burgers: Place a burger patty on the bottom bun. Top with a generous spoonful of mac ‘n’ cheese, followed by two strips of crispy bacon. Finish with the top bun, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try mixing different cheeses into the mac ‘n’ cheese like mozzarella or gouda.
  • Make sure to cook the bacon until it’s crispy to add a perfect crunch to the burger.
  • If you’re in a rush, using pre-made mac ‘n’ cheese can save you time.
